Dr. Rakesh Grover

CHAIRMAN & CEO

Dr. Rakesh Grover is the President & CEO of Carnegie Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Prior to the establishment of Carnegie Pharma, he was the President and COO of Sigma pharm Laboratories, LLC. Previously, Dr. Grover served as Director of Product Development at Perrigo Laboratories, Director of Research & Development at URL Pharma (formerly Mutual Pharmaceuticals) and Formulation Scientist at Teva Pharmaceuticals (formerly Barr Laboratories). He received his Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Long Island University, New York. Dr. Grover specializes in finding unique product development opportunities and then strategically and scientifically executing their development, submission and receiving approval in a record time. His experience includes leading the set-up of a vertically integrated company that did everything from manufacturing of active raw materials to selling the finished products under its own label. Dr. Grover has filed and/or brought several unique products to the market including a number of paragraph-IV projects and branded products.

Keval Prasad

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER & EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, ANALYTICAL CHEMISTRY
Keval Prasad is the Executive Vice President of Analytical Research and Development at Carnegie Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Prasad has more than 23 years of experience in analytical testing and has worked closely with the metrology, compliance, information technology and regulatory affairs departments of the company. Mr. Prasad has participated in the filing of more than 50 ANDA and several NDA products. Prior to Carnegie, he was the Associate Director of Analytical R&D at Sun Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (formerly URL Pharma). Before that, he worked in the analytical departments of Teva Pharmaceuticals (formerly Barr Labs), Sandoz Inc. (formerly Eon Laboratories) and Apotex, Inc. Mr. Prasad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Analytical Chemistry and Microbiology from Ryerson Polytechnic University in Toronto, Canada.

Lance Giordano

VICE PRESIDENT, SALES AND MARKETING
Lance has 30 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Over the past 20 plus years, Lance has held roles of increasing responsibility within the commercial generics space including sales, marketing, account management, product management and sales operations. Prior to joining Carnegie, Lance spent the previous 6 years with Biocon Pharma. He has also worked with companies such as Genus Lifesciences, Winthrop (a division of Sanofi US), Jubilant Cadista, Sandoz and Pfizer. Lance holds an MBA from Villanova University and a BS in Business Administration from La Salle University.

Punit Prajapati

VICE-PRESIDENT OF SCIENTIFIC AFFAIRS
Punit Prajapati is the Vice -President of Scientific Affairs at Carnegie Pharmaceuticals, LLC where he oversees the company’s pharmaceutical sciences, product development, technical service, regulatory and quality functions. Along with his core responsibility, he manages all new products launch and supply chain for the commercial operation. Mr. Prajapati has experience in Pharmaceutical Product and Process Development, Regulatory affairs, Technology Transfer, Process Qualification, Equipment Qualification, and Cleaning Validation. Prior to Carnegie, He was the Manager, MSTG (Manufacturing, Science and Technology Group) at Sun Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Mr. Prajapati holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from Gujarat University, India and Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing (With Certification in Validation & Regulatory Affairs).

Dr. Lai Ogunbiyi

VICE PRESIDENT OF QUALITY ASSURANCE
Dr. Lai Ogunbiyi is the Vice President of Quality Assurance and Business Development at Carnegie Pharma. Prior to joining Carnegie Pharma, he was VP of Business Development at URL Mutual Pharmaceuticals and subsequently the VP of Quality and Business Development at the start-up company Sigma pharm Laboratories, LLC. Dr. Ogunbiyi started his career at the renowned ophthalmic company Bausch and Lomb where he was the Principal Research Scientist. He departed after 5 years with 9 patents to his credit and joined Eastman Kodak’s Pharmaceutical Division as Administrator of Scientific Affairs. In this position, he was responsible for directing and managing several (235) of Kodak’s pharmaceutical research projects in academia worldwide. He was eventually moved to Kodak’s Nano system’s Division as Director of Business development where he was part of the Business Development group that structured a pivotal Nanoparticle research and development agreement with Merck, Sharp and Dohme.

Sunil Shah

VICE PRESIDENT OPERATIONS
Sunil Shah is the Senior Director of Operations at Carnegie Pharmaceuticals, LLC. Prior to joining Carnegie Pharma, Mr. Shah worked for 28 years in the operations department of Sun Pharma (formerly Mutual Pharma) at various capacities.

Kanika Grover

DIRECTOR, H R & ADMINISTRATION
Kanika Grover is an active member of the management team at Carnegie Pharmaceuticals and participates actively in the day-to-day operations of the company. Ms. Grover started as a research analyst in the pharmaceutical industry and later worked in several other disciplines such as Finance, Budgeting, Administration, etc.
